On 15th of January Reenascreena School took a trip to the West Cork Art Centre to see the exhibition in Skibbereen. Two musicians Nico and Martin started them off with some excellent music. Nico played the guitar mostly and singing songs and poems. Martin played the mobile bass, didgeridoo and the saw. Alison Trim the Artist took us next door to show us some of the other children's work, which was baked on construction. Most of the children loved the musical act from the two excellent musicians. I interviewed some of the children, this is what they said. Robert: I thought the pirate act was really funny because we had to think of something in the chest. Michael: The scariest part was when the lady in the story took the person apart to make a violin. The children had very good fun at the art centre and so did I. |
