The alter and windows
The alter and stained glass windows
There are three stained glass windows behind the altar:

St Brigid; erected by Rev John Kearney, formally PP Ardfield, in memory of his parents and family formally of Sunnyrock.

St Peter; in memory of Rev Peter Hill PP VF. Ross 1887=1912.

St Patrick; in memory of William & Margaret Barrett Glounbrack. The Collins family of Reenascreena PO are descendants of these people.

There are two windows at the back of the church, one reminds us of the Holy Year 1951, and the other is in memory of Nellie O’Donovan Carrigfadda. The O’Donovan family are no longer in the townland but the Whyte’s of Reenascreena are descendants.

On the right side of the chapel, the first window honours St Therese, erected by Daniel J McCarthy in memory of his parents, Florence McCarthy The Mall (died 1897) and Catherine (died 1919). Bridget Calnan, is a niece of this Daniel J McCarthy. The O’Driscoll family of Gortroe are also descendants.

The second window on the right is in memory of Rev Jeremiah O’Driscoll, the first curate in Carrigfadda, erected by his nephew Ted O’Driscoll. This family still reside at Carrigilihy Union Hall.

The third window is in memory of Father John Sheehy.

He also served as curate in Carrigfadda. He was a Skibbereen man. Mary Sheehy Hussey is one of this family. The fourth window is in memory of Timothy & Mary O’Sullivan Carhugarriff . The older folk around remember there daughters Johanna & Nora, two very holy ladies of this district, their nephew is Tim Joe Fitzpatrick, who now lives there with his family.

The next window says, pray for John & Mary O’Sullivan Glounbrack. It was donated by their daughter Mrs Julia. O’Donoghue who taught in Reenascreena national school for many years. Her daughter Tess O’Donovan lives in Ballinvard Rossmore. Michael O’Sullivan Burgatia and John of Reenascreena are grandsons of John & Mary named on that window.

The sixth window to the memory of Mrs Mary O’Donovan Maulathanavalla erected by her daughter Bridie, who now has the distinction of being the only person alive who presented a window to the church in the 1950’s.

The first window on the left is to the memory of Fr Jeremiah O’Donovan, a curate in Carrigfadda. He died suddenly in 1942. He was so popular that the locals requested that he would be buried in Carrigfadda, so his remains rest at the gable of the chapel.

The next window on the left to the memory of Michael Daly Tullig and the deceased members of his family. His son Rev Jeremiah Daly who spent his priestly life in the Dublin diocese died in 1980 and he awaits the resurrection in the chapel grounds beside Fr O’Donovan. Those who were alter boys in the 1950’ and 60’s will remember serving mass for Fr Jeremiah during the summer holidays and getting a 60 MPH spin in his VW beetle on the rough roads. His memory is still fresh in our minds. The Daly’s of Tullig are descendants.

The third window to the memory of Timothy and Johanna McCarthy Carrigfadda by their daughter Catherine. They owned the land to the west of the chapel and lived in the small house beside the road. The land is now owned by Andrew O’Sullivan. The late Teddy Murray of Maulyregan was their grandson. The fourth in loving memory of Julia McCarthy Milleenahilan. We all have happy memories of her nephew Denis McCarthy (the shoemaker) One of the windows in the sacristy to the memory of John & Margaret Hurley was donated by there son Jim Hurley. These are grandparents of John Hayes Maulyregan.
