Public Meeting tonight - 2006/11/27 18:42
Hi all,
I meant to post this last week but events kind of overtoook me! Isn't it always the way?
There will be a public meeting tonight at 9pm in Reenascreena Community Hall to discuss various community projects for the coming year and the availability/options for funding them.
RCAG is keen to get as much community involvement as possible in deciding which projects we should be focusing on, and the direction we want to take in relation to the development/enhancement of Reenascreena and the surrounding area.
What do we want for Reenascreena moving forwards, where should we be focusing our collective energies?
Topics to be discussed will include:
* The inclusion of Reenascreena in the CLAR Programme
* Walkway up Carrigfadda: The Next Step
* Village Renewal, Tidy Towns, Rural Social Scheme, etc.
* Zoning -- next phase to begin in 2007
* VEC Classess -- what do we want after the computer classes?
* Community Arts Project: any ideas?
